Since 1993, Lorianne has taught writing and literature at various New England colleges. Before becoming a college instructor, Lorianne honed her teaching skills as an interpretive naturalist, leading nature walks and staffing nature centers in Ohio and Massachusetts.
Lorianne currently teaches in the English department at Keene State College and through the Distance Education program at Southern New Hampshire University. A Senior Dharma Teacher in the Kwan Um School of Zen, Lorianne also teaches Zen meditation.
